In honor of San Diego Pride Week, this month's Somm Series will focus on Pride in Every Pour: A Queer Winemaker Celebration, a special Somm Series led by our in-house beverage curator and the owner of Piqué Wines, Presston. This guided tasting will feature five exceptional wines crafted by queer winemakers, each pour paired with stories that highlight identity, passion, and pride in the wine world.

Meet the Somm

Presston (he/him) is a distinguished wine professional based in San Diego with a deep passion for both the art and science of winemaking. He holds a degree in Viticulture and Enology from UC Davis and a Masters of Business Administration from San Diego State University, blending technical expertise with strategic business acumen. This unique skill set allows him to navigate both the creative and operational sides of the wine industry seamlessly.
