On Thursday, July 1 the HBA is sponsoring a community event to celebrate the launch of the eastern end median lighting project. City Councilman Todd Gloria will be hosting the "lite up" launch at 9 p.m. and as a countdown to the launch, the neighboring businesses along University between 10th and Park will hold sidewalk sales, provide entertainment and tastes for a local shop-in-stroll block party.
